wats up with all these errors by the opposition... curse of the bambino?

its hard to see the yankees not sweeping this series man.

i got them winning the series 4 games to 1.. when are the world series tickets going on sale?

i like the quote from jeter at the end of the game...
talking about the importance of every inning

Looks like everyone is rooting for the Yanks biggrin.gif No bets for the first game?

Not because the yankees won the first game but i smell a World Series in New York coming very soon. The pitching staff is just crazy right now and the whole team has that look like its time to bring one home.

Attention Met fans, its okay for you to hop on our wagon. wink.gif

yeah so that play Jeter just made to catch Abreu at second.

theres a high probability that Jeter did that on purpose like use his body language to make Abreu think that the ball would go over his head and that he could get three amidst all the noise and excitement of the play.

jeter is the man.

either that or jeter tracked that throw down that was suppose to be an errant throw and abreu couldnt beleive that he was able to save it and got caught out there.

great play.

Yeah that was weird. Maybe theres something we dont know about Robertson and the first batter he faced. But the commentators were saying there was no history.
so i dunno. Maybe Joe was just trying to sneak in some work for him. I have heard commentary throughout the series that Girardi was making too many pitching moves and I beleive it had to do with situations and keeping the entire squad ready.
Sometimes you just need to get your feet wet but Acevedo?
I didnt even know he was on the team lol.

Maybe he was doing a Trotta and trying to sneak everyone in the game.
If so then hmmm i dunno man. You can imagine at some human level maybe Girardi has been to Acevedos house, met the kids went fishing together. Who knows. What do you do then? Would i put my boy in the game? I dunno.

Was a gutsy move to bring Mariano to shut it down originally.. thats when you knew Girardo was all about getting the 'W' today worry about tomorrow later.
But then he flipped flopped with Acevedo. Outsmarted himself?

Anyways...
I think when they walked Rodriguez they should have had him steal second.
and also when Mariano Rivera came up to bat with nobody on they should have let him hit to keep him pitching another inning. They could have saved that pinch hitter for when A-Rod got walked and if he stole second.

But dont listen to me im the guy that would have benched Posada after that non hussle in game 1 of the ALDS. friend or no friend.

Acevedo threw away that game on purpose?

check out the set up....

i bought the MLB.com broadcast of the yankees on the internet.

found out they have this really hot view called high homeplate.
basically they have a camera that starts high behind the plate so you can see the whole feild defense. then they follow the ball.

the only problem is the tv view is nice to see what pitches are thrown and you cant see them both at the same time.. OR CAN YOU?!

hahahahah
download another browser lie firefox and log into the same mlb.com broadcast but just change the view. if you have a nice 16:9 monitor like mine you get a nice split screen of the action simultaneously.
then you can turn off the volume and turn on the yankee broadcast on the radio.

i like fox too so you can turn on your TV set and put foxs play by play.

mlb.com gives you fox's broadcast OR postseason.TV video + fox audio
when yankees are home and just
postseason.TV video + fox audio
when the yankees are away.

you have to try it....
the minute you get to see the camera follow the ball through cut off men like fox doesnt show it you will never go back.
